When I arrived in Rockland in 1957 the 64300 was here, to be replaced by 65603 which became SWIVEL which was replaced by TACKLE.
LAUREL was replaced by WHITE LUPINE which was replaced by ABBIE BURGESS.
SNOHOMISH was replaced by SANIBEL which was replaced by THUNDER BAY.
That's the named cutters, there are a lot of numbered boats whose #s I can't recall.
Did you know CWO Frank Cristoph? He was Commanding Officer of White Lupine when it came from Ogdensburg. He had an interesting career having been an Engineman, then Boatswain's Mate.
You mentioned a name a few posts back. Haven't thought of him in years. Lionel Crossman. He was my Deputy Group Commander at USCG Group Humboldt Bay in 69-71. I was at the station as XPO. "Good Man"

This link will take you to a photo of Snohomish. If you can see a person on the bridge wing maybe you will recognise Lionel Crossman. cg-tugs.org/snohomish
