This is 1/8 Alpha Co. 3rd platoon in Fallujah, a few days before thanksgiving, 2004. We were using houses around this one for a firm base and needed to clear it.
The Marine that got hit with some shrapnel at the start of the video is Lcpl Faircloth. He lost his life a few days later, ambushed while clearing another house.
