No special ordnance, just a good hit right on the seam. The pyrotechnics are the internal ammo going off, cooking off. Like bullets in a fire, no projectiles, no big explosion, just a lot of heat and light in a confined space. The poor ragheads were reduced to fine ash. Bill
This is not an Israeli missile nor is it a Syrian tank. This is a full weapons load test on an old challenger by British Forces to aquire test data for the Missile.
This is an old 15+ years old video of a British live fire the missile is either the Milan or the Hot anti-tank round I can't remember which but I can look at the VHS tape of it I have to verify if anyone is that intersted. The effects are typical of most HEAT rounds (High explosive anti-tank). All there is to them is a shape charge and depending on type, a self forming penatrator. The vehicle is actually "killed" by the secondary explosions the ammo and fuel burning and cooking off.
Go to youtube and type in, "Armed tank get hit by anti-tank missile." You can hear the announcer observing and reporting the fact that it's an unmanned tank running on remote.

Sadly no, they verify LITTLE these days, frankly there is no precedent to do so either, just as well since the task would be enormous given the extent of such dishonesty. I didn't have to weigh in on this one since I knew other members in-the-know here would sniff this bogus (laughable) offering a mile away, post the facts and set the record straight. But it is very annoying (and gettin' OLD isn't it?) that a previous good video can be hi-jacked by someone then given a new deceptive/misleading title or caption and put out as a lesser version of the truth if not an outright lie for who-knows-what reason like that "sniper/50 cal" video...
I get videos all the time and spend far too much time researching the validity. DID, STRATFOR, Google, etc. Got this video AGAIN and (replied to all) its BS..
Do you have any other proof available as to the original date it was made. One poster said it was 15 years old. I don't think so but could be wrong.
If you look closely you can see the projectile going around the tank right before it hits. I think there was some kind of phosphorus device ignited inside the tank being remotely detonated to make this fireworks show.
