I see that I am not the only one who noticed the time length.

Thanks for the kind words. I did the first mix and it came to 7 minutes or so... Seemed dumb to me, so I aimed for 9:11...seemed appropriate at the time. Using the 21 gun salute from the movie" Clear and present Danger allowed me to hit 9:11 on the money. Thats why the times between rounds vary, and the end echo cuts out at the end.
A little about me. When I was 25, I had the balls to finally join the Marines. After 6 waivers including a weight waiver, I got to Parriss Island. Passed entry quals, and finished recieving. Traning day 1, we were inour squad bay maybe 10 minutes. As we practiced the laundry "Wagon Well", like an idiot I ran into a concrete table sticking out from the wall.... I cracked my right femur. for the next 9 weeks, I ate motrin like candy...5-6 a day. I was running my 3 everyother day and even passed y 21 minute exit qual. When I got re - xryed for the crucible, they realized the crack in my femur had gotten larger. In the blink of an eye, the corpsman came into the room and handed my my els discharge papers... Just like that!!!!!!!! When I got into my last squad bay awaiting departure in my dress grays, I was across from The parade deck in 1st battalion. I watched my platoon, 3033 graduate from the worst portal I have ever viewed the world through. To be honest, I never recovered from the biggest disappointment in my life, not becoming a United States Marine!
I waited my 6 months, and started my re-enlistment. As I was waiting for my re-enlistment code from Virginia, I became a father to the greatest boy in the world...His name is Neo. To give you an idea of my timeline, A month later I got my re-enlistment code, but could not leave my son back here, so I had to turn away... I would hve finished A.I.T. in August 01' Yes, Infantry, 0311 with the Saw249 was my job code. I know its different from 0311, but thats what I had enslisted as, then chose the 249....who wouldn't...anyways, I would have been one of the first deployed. Instead, I made this song. It was good, bu then Shock and Awe began, and I knew the song needed to be finished. I cut down the 9/11 stuff to the bare esentials, and then put the last 3 minutes together. I finished on the 2 yr aniversarry, and was honored to have the song played on WAAF 107.3 in Boston at 16:15. I know people say it all the time.."If I was there man... " I can honestly say this I was born to be a Marine, God just didn't agree. At this point, I'm 36. My only hope is that they strat the draft, otherwise, I will never truly earn my Eagle Globe and Anchor> I firmly believe at least one memeber of every family in each genration should serve.... Earn your keep in the greatest country in the world" I tried, I failed. My son Neo.... I can only hope, or even my daughter Maia....
Thats all,
Thank you truly from the botom of my soul for doing your jobs, and doing them well. I love this f'n country, and we would be nothing with out all of you!
THANK YOU

Thank you for an inspirational video. Distills the essence of why we are over there. I'm sorry you were unable to complete your efforts in Parris Island, but thank you for serving this way. God bless your family, our military, and this great nation.

I have the video on utube an my myspacpage. On my myspace page, www.myspace.com/rezin8usa , I have an awesome Boston Red Sox video too....
Some other crap too.
But ther i no short versio, however none of this footage is mine, I got it from all these heros in our military and rom the people of NY from that horrible day, so I'm sure if you were searching 9/11, you must have seen some of this footge befor.
Thank to eeryone for the kindest of wor. Music critics can say what they want, but the opinon of the military and firmen are really what maters to me...simply because I did this all of you... My way of saying thanks!

Thanks for putting your video together. May we never forget.

Don't fret for having not served in the Armed Services. Many great Americans are around who serve in other capacities. As in your case, you spread teh word about what's important in this country. We NEED people like you who speak for those who are over there doing their jobs.

We appreciate what you're doing!
