The General is just another Liberal scumbag who could'nt fight his way out of a paper bag.He had his chance when he was on active duty and blew it,he got his rank by kissing ***.Now to hear his diatribe he's God's gift to mankind.I get sick to my stomach every time I hear him speak....

Obviously Commander you are of the misconception that being a fighter pilot that got shot down qualifies a person for president.

Tell me and all of the mis-informed swabbies who have replied to your idiotic diatribe, what John McCain has done for the military besides furnish it with new toys.

You support a former officer who has and still votes no on Veteran Benefits.
Is this the type of person who should be President?

A man that took his Veteran's benefits when he returned from Viet Nam.

The same man who would deny benefits to the brave and very courageous soldiers serving in Iraq and Afganistan. A man who supports sending NAVY enlistees to the desert!

Commander, I commend you on driking the KOOL-AID!

8779626 - I will agree I have some issues with John McCain in fact with most of the career politicians. But from our 2 choices I feel he will try to kept this country safe. But when it comes to Gen Clark's remarks about "just because your shot down in a plane does not make you qualified to be President". General let me remind you the name your party seems to bring up as one of the greatest Presidents every had a PT Boat shot out from under him!!!!

ALL
This General is trying to be a VP candidate. Will say and try his best to Sit on the Sofa at the Obama Oval Office
Our choice this fall
1. Mr. Obama and his controllers, of the Shadow Party, Open Society Institute, George Soros and the left over 60s Jane Fonda crowd.
or
2. Mr. McCain warts, old fighter pilot hemroids, and all. Dedicated to trying to lead a disallusioned, cynical, critical of everyone's opinion, save thier own USA.
Folks, it is not an easy task to lead. Ask anyone who has led group from point A to point B.
We, the electorate, have a responsibility to choose a Leader that will have the best interests of the USA in thier minds.
I for one, would choose a leader that has demonstrated the ability to stand up for the Bill of Rights, the Constitution and has proven his worth on the field.
A leader that is NOT controlled, dictated to, manufactured by and kowtowing to a group of dedicated USA life style enders.
end

I don't remember Kennedy constantly bringing up his service when he was running.

And Gen. Clark is right.
