I would like to suggest adding a new sticky topic that could be used as a quick-to-locate reference with two "Reference Threads" which would include one thread where people with the allowable direct links to web sites and forms being referred to could post them.
I also would suggest it include a thread for military anacronyms and unofficial phrases so that those of us who did not serve but are looking for information to help our individual vets have an easy-to-find explaination of those terms so we better understand what some of the rather cryptic posts are actually saying.

military acronyms
That would be almost impossible, there are approximately 100,000 military acronyms. When you see one you don't know just type it in to your search engine, i.e.

ptsd and you will end up with 18,000,000+ hits.

When I first joined military.com a couple of years ago and I saw a term I didn't know I would ask, and the members and moderators would tell me to research it. I still have to do that occasionally.

It would be nice when a member makes anew post that they spell out the abbreviation and acronyms the first time they use the term.

A listening ear, a caring heart, an open mind and an extended hand may be all I can offer, but it is yours without charge or Judgment.

Especially those that are service or disease specific. General terms to all branches are easy, but I do not know Army and I doubt Bruce knows Navy. I know some diseases, but not all of them.
