#1-I saw an S3B-Viking(Snoopy)go down while I'd been wearing my "Greene Jersey" on the USS Nimitz in 1982/July-1983/Nov? Fragments of those images continue to interrupt my mental health today! Does anyone else remember this accident? #2-On elevator #4,I was the last trouble-shooter on my A7-E Corsair,when Senior Chief "Hill" met me on the aircraft,when I'd been trying to close the canopy that I could not,due to getting burned by the F-14 TomCat's Afterburners as it sat running it's engines hooked ready for flight. Senior Chief "Hill" walked me down the catwalk,and inside the hatch of the Nimitz,inside he had me pull down my pants and saw the blistering burns on the upper back of my legs. He assisted me to my bunk,gave me bedrest and brought me burn med's from the medic's below. I cannot find any documentation? (vjohnnyjcv@yahoo)Senior Chief "Hill" where are You?
