Hello Everyone!

I need your advice. I'm a volunteer for operationpaperback.org. We have the lists from the various military branches for their Recommended Reading for their troops. We are now gathering the actual books on the Lists to ship to soldiers. Many of the books are hard to find and if we can find those elusive copies, they are expensive. We are all volunteers and our money is, of course, limited!

Operation Paperback has sent almost a million paperbacks of all genres since 1999 to our troops; sometimes the soldiers request particular books or genres, sometimes a Unit Commander will request a general shipment of all genres. However, these lists that I'm now working with were put together by the Air Force, Army etc -- books that they would like their soldiers to read.

I would like to enlist the help of anyone in the military - or out of the military - in our search for these books; who knows who might have a copy that they don't need any longer and who would be glad to have those serving in our military today benefit from the books!

Do you have any suggestions on how I might go about contacting appropriate groups who might have books to donate? I would so appreciate any suggestions you might have.
