How many times have we heard the WWII generation called the greatest generation? As a son of that generation, I can atest to it's truth, they did nothing less than save the world. We've also heard every generation has its heroes, also true.
I submit that this is a pretty damn good generation at work here, doing the same 2 jobs;
saving the world & providing heroes for generations to come.

Amen! I'm proud to wear my great-grandfather's dogtags that have seen Normandy's beaches, and pretty soon I'll be wearing a set of my own as an airman in the USAF.

I agree, we do have some great hero's in our nation today, but sadly sometimes people of the same nation take their sacrifice for granted.
