I'm headed to NM/WSNM on Oct 19, but leave for Fort Sill in two days on the 20th. Guess i'll be there for 3weeks. Anyway for any of the DS that might know. I'm a 19k Armor crewman. I noticed that 1 of the requirments for graduation is to qualify with M16 and 9mm. So for those who might have that need, such as myself maybe future 31b, Will we get the chance to qaulify with 9MM. since they would have already done so at school in Fort Knox by the time i get for AIT.
Also, i had to stop running for about 3 weeks now cause i got shin splints, is there anything i can do, or have an oppurtunity to do to at Fort Sill in reception to start running again, some 30/60 or step climbing any type of running after hours.

Theres no 9mm qual, in fact i never even saw a 9mm while at wtc except on the base MPs.

As for shin splints just get a brand new pair of running shoes and push through it. Shin splints heal in a month or less normally.

Whats your date for MP school?

not MP school. 19k, Tanker, but the graduation requirments are to qaulify with M16A2 and 9mm. unless they let me do it sometime during school at Fort Knox. I guess i don't get to, which is total BS if you ask me. I would rather gone back and done the Basic training again,and qualified with everything i'm required to graduate with the proper requirments as everyone else.
