I leave for basic in exactly one week. I've had runners knee, and have been resting it for just under 6 weeks. It felts great, but i had to do some heavy lifting, and now its a bit stiff. I've rest it, and it i've done alternate exercises for strength building. I've done 5 miles easy no pain or anything on the bike, and done 1.5 miles running easy.

Should i be worried?

I would say No...if the pain comes back just take extra time to warm up the knees.
