Anyone heading out around that time? I'm suppose to ship out 27May. I'm guessing based off the schedule, that its class 516 that reports 01June and starts 05June? Just curious to see if anyone on here is in that same schedule. I'm new on this site, so I just want to say that appreciate all the info ppl are putting out there in regards to WTC. Most of what I found (on other sites) seems to be a bit outdated and the recruiters don't seem to have much info on it either. So thanks for those taking the time to educate those of us that are getting ready to ship off to WTC.

I depart from denver on the 28th of april which leads me to think my class is 515 on the 4th of may report date.

yeah hi i'm shipping out in may as well can't wait, i've been waiting for a while so i'm anxious.

I have a ship date of 28 April 09, but i don't know when the class starts, I would think in May. I am prior AF going ANG, been out for about 9 years. Got my MOS 62B, but don't know when I am headed for my AIT. So anyone shipping the same time I'll see you there.

I am currently in WTC. Day three to be exact. Reception is a drag. Lots of inprocessing and lots of waiting. Just remember how much waiting in basic you did, well it just about the same. There is some yelling but it's at the group. I haven't seen one person get yelled at in their face. The cadre are fair but stern. This is NOT basic but it is structured. You will sign in and out to go anywhere on pass. There are formations twice a day (morning and night) and yes, the group can get "smoked".

Getting smoked sucks but it isn't bad either. You do just about 7 to 10 pushups and your done.

If I could give just two pieces of advice it would be this...
1.LEARN THE SOLDIERS CREED. Learn it now. All of your passes and privilages depend on it.

2.YOU MUST COME HERE IN SHAPE. I'm on training day 3 but I've been here almost a week. We have done zero (I repeat ZERO) PT. Everyone is starting to get a little weak so we are using our pass time to run and work pushup/situps. The second half of
wtc will expect you to be in shape. If you come here with a positive attitude and a serious frame of mind you will do well and make some great friends. If you are a complainer then you should really reconsider joining at all. I will update this blog as I go.

Hey everyone I'm scheduled to ship 27may as well, but thought I would ask if anyone else has been in the guard for a while. I went in the NG in 05, got out in Sep 08 due to a move. Now going back in and got told I have to go to WTC anyone else in the same boat?

I was Active army in 91-95 as 91b medic. going back in as 13f at 36

I'll be in class 514 reporting to WTC 27APR09. I'm prior service Navy and now in Special Forces GroupARNG, no one, I mean no one in my unit has a clue about WTC. Half of them are deployed, and the few that are here are all straight from active duty Army. And as informative as my recruiter is, he's never had to ship anyone to WTC. I've done my best to research a lil, but haven't found anything but out dated information, any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
