I am an active duty E-6 in the Navy going blue to green in September. My question is I can not find my high school diloma anywhere. It's not in my service record and I have no idea where it is. Honestly I have'nt seen it since I joined the Navy 9 years ago. I read that this is something that I'm going to need to bring with me to WTC but do I really need it? I know I have a good ammount of time till I'm supposed to ship but is this something that I should even worry about?
Probably won't need it but you can call your high school and have them send you an official copy of your transcripts just to be safe.

Here is the problem. I went to an alternative school. I still recieved a highschool diploma but its not from an official highshcool. The school I went too no longer exists so i'm kind of lost as to what I am supposed to do here. Maybe I'm making too big of a deal out of this. But I am concerned that this will DQ me. I'm already getting out of the Navy 10 months early and if the Army falls through I will not be able to reenlist in the Navy so naturally I am a little worried about it. Any advice?
I called my dad today and low and behold deep in the bowels of all of his important paperwork he found it!! Now I can stop stressing about all of this... Thanks for the replies and advice. As usual I really appreciate it.
