Why in the world did I get a ship date 9 days before my class starts? I am a little puzzled.

I ship 10 days. You got me on why we have to be there that earliy. When do you ship?

Same here. I ship out May 27th and according to the schedule, my report date is June 1 and the course starts June 5. I'm just excited to get down there and do what I gotta do!! Good luck to you both!!

You ship EARLY because there MAY be complications in your medical/FINANCE. So that is why you need to be here a couple of days early. ARNG/AR have to be paid from a SEPERATE FUND SITE(federal) then what you USED to get paid from when on Drill. If you do not know what I am talking about don't worry. Just be happy that at least you get to see the lovely drill pad.

Speaking of pay did anyone have issues with it. Can I expect to get payed on the 1st since I leave the 14th of this month? Thanks

you leave on the 14........approx 4 days to in process. You leave on the 14th, the first day will be 15th...a Thurs, day 2 FRi, day 3, MONDAY the 20th. day 4 Tues the 21st. your pay will not even have been sent to Finance until everyone on YOUR roster that you came in with has been seen. so your pay will not be ready for the 1st. Make plans accordingly. Hope this helps.
