F-battery is a place where they have the medical holds go, the pt failures and people that have to go on bed rest during training. They will pt two times a day and do a lot of details during the day. Don't worry to much about your run time. If you don't pass your initial pt test you will do pt two times a day. You will also run every other day. If you try and push yourself during your pt runs you will drop alot of time off of your run. We had people drop over five minutes on thier time. I was in decent shape and still dropped two minutes. The winter break stuff I don't know anything about. Sorry.

You know that is VERY true, I was 18 when I joined the AF and my initial 1.5 run was like 22 minutes or something, in 6 weeks I was 12:04, so I do plan to come prepared, but if I'm not hitting 21 minutes or something, I know that the WTC is designed to help me and others get to that goal time!

Thanks for the info! Is it still at White Sands? or Ft. Sill or Ft. Knox..or who knows! LOL

My recruiter had a message that came out last friday and I have to pass the APFT before being allowed to ship. Right now I'm in the 240 range so I shouldn't have a problem. I don't ship till next april but they are having me test in two weeks to see where I'm at. There was also a new WTC video that came out last friday as well that he had me watch. It was mostly about people not prepared to pass the PT.

I leave in March and my only concern is my run time. I am so out of shape and I am so afraid that I wont make my run time.
