My contract says I go to Fort Sill on 20080821 but is says my WTC training doesnt start at WSMR until 20080919. I asked the counselor about it when he gave me the contract. He said that thats the latest I could go. I have to go to WSMR because I am a female. I know what the counselor said, but I have a gut feeling he was lying, and Im going to be stuck at Ft. Sill for a month..... What do you think?

Yeah mine says the exact same thing. There is a class that starts on the 29th so maybe you'll get into that one. I should be leaving on 21aug but my recruiter didnt send in my eye consult so it maybe a couple days later than planned.

Showing up to Ft. Sill on the 21st, doesn't allow enough time to be processed for the 29Aug date,(report date 25Aug) which is why you are slated to go to the later one....good luck

"Sarah", since WSMR is the only place (for now! Wink) you can go, you will be at Sill for a while. It will suck for sure but do your best not to get into trouble or go crazy!

Katana, 7 days is plenty of time to get inprocessed! A lot of people stay there longer than 7 days, yes, but often times they get fully inprocessed within 4 days. It's a rare occurence but it is possible. Good luck!

Yes 7 Days is doable. I've read that it goes anywhere from 4-10 days for the process...In this case, the soldier shows up on the 21st (in Sill) and has to report to SF on the 25th...you can see where I didn't believe that would happen based on all of the thread info...but hey you troops down there are doing an awesome job so go ahead and play Superman...I won't tell..lol.
