I am submitting this info in order to gain suggestions and advice.

I reenlisted into the NG at the end of February with an administrative moral waiver and an inspect physical. Right before I was suppose to ship out to WTC changes were made to policy saying that I needed a MEPS physical before for undergoing training.

I went to MEPS and completed the entire physical but the MD medically disqualified me for what I had a moral waiver for and explained to me that I would need a medical waiver for this as well.

It has been a month since my med waiver was submitted to the NGB. Here are the facts:

- I went to reception drill before all this happened and was paid for it.
- The MD who gave me my inspect physical didn't mention needing a medical waiver.
- My unit wouldn't allow me to drill with them during our AT. (They are aware of the situation and are allowing me to work this out but they are afraid that my enlistment is erronious.)
- After taking the physical my recruiter has stopped communicating with me.
- I've called the NG liaison office once to check my status.

I understand that the Army is looking real hard at moral waivers right now but I am afraid that I may be getting caught up with all the people trying to get into the military when I'm technically a member of the Armed Forces.

No one here can comment much. You dont tell us the nature of your moral waiver, and you shouldnt tell us.

Wait for the medical waiver.

Oldervet is RIGHT!!!

I know you want advice, but it's nobody's business, and is NOT their decision to make. It's rests soley on MEPS to decide whether you're qualified, or not.

Policy and Regulations are in place for a purpose and require periodic updates depending on the circumstances. Physicals and Waivers are in that catagory.

Yes, you're enlisted in the armed forces, but are not yet a qualified member until completion of WTC, or BCT.
