Ok it is almost over, we have a little less than 2 weeks of actual training left, and then get ready to graduate. Today we qualified on the m16 and for those interested, i shot the highest scorefor today, 38 out of 40, should have been 40 but oh well...A big issue I hear guys crying about, mail...If your coming to WTC, yes you can get mail, but you have to understand, only selected people in a unit are authorised to handle mail, you have to take a test. That being said, this is a hectic time consuming course and the folks that handle mail are training the guys here and cannot be two places at once, you will get your mail, no one is withholding it from anyone. This is not like a regular unit, this place is getting you ready for your service and there is a lot of training in a short amount of time. The cadre work their butts off, when you complain you need to remember they get up before you and go to bed after you, all after hearing your complaining and issues all day. I have nothing but respect for these Drill Sgts and cadre. This is a good course and easy as long as you play the game and be patient, time flies anyhow. Be where your supposed to be, with what your supposed to have, and dont complain, it wont do any good. Oh and like has been said a million times, make sure you can pass the pt test, and even more importantly, make sure your body is in good shape, I cannot believe meps lets this many broke people come in the military. I have never seen so many braces and crutches in my life.

As far as the 2qt....I drink at least 6 a day...you can inspect my beads anytime. I think I missed your brief when you came and saw us at 95th. I was trying to figure out who you are. Anyhoo thanks for all the info, it has helped immensely.

Congrats on your weapons qual. I guess I was referring to the miscommunication on how all your peers were supposed to KEEP the 2 qts when you left 95th. Then you had to get the canteens from where you got your Go to War gear place.
