My husband is prior AF going medic/LPN and there was no bonus..unfortunately. Actually thought I could finally pay off the star card lol.

That bonus bullshit is so haphazard. I know another prior AF going LPN that DID get a nice bonus. Then I know another that got nothing. It's rediculous. I blame it on the recruiters not looking up the latest information (which changes constantly).

You did not miss any bonus because of your recruiter. When you go thru MEPS and speak with a counselor the Bonus structure is displayed on his system. It is double checked when you have your PW pack set up in "classification". There is no way to "Miss" a bonus. If you got none, its because you qualified for none.

I am thinking about going back in. I was prior Army National Guard but got chaptered out at the end of AIT for not passing my PT. I am in better shape now, and it has been 9 years. I was told I would not have to go back into Basic and would go to WTC.

I was MOSQed as a 92Y Military Unit Supply, but have since got my BA in Social Work. I want to go into the MP MOS. Does anyone know of a bonus for a enlisted MP?

I actually want to go to OCS, and be a MP Officer.

I was told I had a better chance of making OCS after I get back in as enlisted. is this true?

But I am very interested in knowing what to expect on my contract...

Are there any bonoues for 13-E or 14-E? My MOS is thouse as an MP, my Sgt. said that you have to take 2 MOS schools, which I think were basedin Austin, Tx...anyone got any info on this? Thanks.

Collinz...I just joined as 14E and am coming in as a SGT and got 5K. The school is in well..I hate to talk about my home state but ...El Paso..enough said.

I am going infantry supposedly my recruiter tells me I am getting 10,000 for that. Been out since 1996. Haven't seen anything in writing yet. I am trying to find out as much as I can about getting airborne in my contract (haven't gotten that far yet) and I get conflicting stories. Some say you can't until AIT while others say get it in your contract. I also hear you can get your choice of duty station. Can anyone confirm any of this?

Jnmcgraw, there's a whole section of this forum for just the airborne school. Ask those guys, they'll know for sure. In fact, check out the sticky post at the very beginning. I think you'll laugh.

Your question is a little confusing. 92Y is not MP.
