Someone mentioned on here White/Sands water quality left much to be desired causing intestal problems,With that in mind,I have a pretty sensitive stomach would the Cadre freak out if I brought Imodium AD pills, this is an over the counter remedy for diarreha,or should I just practice the pokering up the cheeks?

Ditto, I had no problems with the water. I think some are so used to drinking fancy bottled water that the taste of "regular" water was foreign to them Big Grin

ok can i bring imodium AD anyways? Tex/Mex foods can upset my stomach too and your right i drink bottled water all the time.I went down to Fort Lauderdale a couple years back and got sick drinking tap water there.I don`t get so sick i can`t function,i just have to run to the bathroom all the time until i pop a couple of imodiums and i`m fine.Don`t want to **** off people from the south but the water quality seems to get worse the further south you get.

The water buffalo water in white sands tastes funny but it never gave me any intestinal problems. Actually I got pretty used to the water taste and when they would give us bottled water for lunch I noticed it tasted somewhat acidic compared to the buffalo water.

Bottom line is that the water tasted weird but its perfectly fine.

WSMR's water was better than anything I tasted in the sandbox.

Don't worry, the parasites will only help you make tape. Smile

The water from the water buffalos at WSMR and Santa Fe definitely tasted odd but who cares? It's like a million degrees with no humidity and the air literally sucks all of the fluid out of you so any water is good. No one in my class had any intestinal problems with it, it just tasted odd. The food at Santa Fe may have caused some intestinal problems though...geez, it was awful!

yes you will be able to bring your imodium, i would personally tell you that you should worry more about sgt TnT's cooking, lol. we were told that it was gonna be spicy due to "southwestern cooking". it was lots of pepper. lol. the water in sante fe was fine. the water in WSMR was well water and does taste funny. youll be fine, the only guys i know had problems used it to wash there eyes out and got pretty bloodshot ofter doing so. the medics had them using eye drops of some sort to fix the issue. the cadre will take care of you. dont worry

Thanks,I don`t care about the taste,I drink warm water all the time when I`m exercising,it`s actually better for you when your hot, cold water can give you stomach cramps and a headache. But I`m not used to spicy food, might bring some tums too,I used to eat jeolopeno peppers raw when I was young, now that will keep me up all night with acid reflux. It sucks getting old.

Doesn't matter what the water quality is. You won't be going to WSMR...
