My recruiter and I had difficulty setting up my AKO account. We were getting stuck on the pay entry base date (PEBD) page. For new recruits your PEBD is normally your ship date. For prior service you need to subtract your time in service from your ship date. That will be your new PEBD. For instance if your ship date is 20091117 and you have 4 years prior service your PEBD would be 20051117. Just a little info to help you guys out so you don't have to go through the same hassle I just did.
