I've skimmed most of the forums but could use a hand. First, what is BJJ and Power Points?

Second, I am dropping weight to get to WTC and plan on dropping more since I'm sure my former Air Guard wuss status will lead to some stupid deeds and smokings that will also help me drop pounds. Since it sounds like the Class A's aren't used during the course, would I be able to snag them after completing the course on my way to my AIT school? I realize this would probably require a trip back to Ft. Sill or would I be able to swap them at my AIT upon arrival?

Thanks in advance,

Yet another wannabe back

First off welcome. I think I can handle two parts of this question for you. First - BJJ is Brazilian Ju-Jitsu. It is a ground based grappling system. This is the base for the Army combative system. It called Combatives in the Army not BJJ. If you ever watched UFC, WEC, IFL, Pride, K-1, KOTC, RITC or ADCC you get the idea. Its good stuff, very effective - bring a mouthpiece. As far as power points go, its a computer presentation that is projected on a screen through the use of slides (its like a slide show).

Thanks Punisher. Sadly, I've made 2 power point presentations in my life. I was thinking it was a form of physical testing/smoking rather than just a mental one!! Big Grin

Considering that the last time I got in a fight was in the 6th grade and I'm in my mid-30's now (I won them when I was a kid) I'd also better bring a first aid kit for the beatings I will probably receive. Smile

Its not so much the beating as the being choked out. Everything just kind of goes b..l...a....c.....k......zzzzzzzzz! Night-Night.
