1st of all i'd like to say i hope everyone had a great xmas. ok i just would like a little clarification on a couple of items in the to bring to WTC lsit.

can wed bring sunglasses
do the razors have to be disposible
if i am already in the pay system because i was in the RSP program and getting paid for it and i have a mypay account. do i need to still bring a direct deposit form and if so all info needed are on my checks can i bring that?

I've known for quite some time that it will be only at Ft. Sill. I was just commenting on the schedule having a PT test at the Reception Bn is all. Why am I private? Because I don't like to volunteer information about myself on a public forum. I guess that I'm old school. I don't even have a Facebook or Myspace page either...it's nobody's business imho.

figured i'd bump this so it doesn't get lost in quaymrs post also are there phases like basic i.e. red,white, etc...

I have been separated from Active duty Army for 2 years. I will be earning my BSB/ACC degree soon, but I have a few questions that I can't seem to find an exact answer to.
1. How long does a prior service Army soldier need to be separated from the service before they have to attend WTC. Will I have to attend if I have been separated for 3 years at my time of re-entry?
2. Where can I find a complete OCS packet & application, and how long does the application process take?

Sunglasses - You'll be issued ballistics.
Razors - Disposible is best! (field time)
Direct Deposit - Bring the form. State and Federal pay systems are different. you can bring a void check, but they are going to use it to have you fill out a new direct deposit form anyways.

I am leaving to WTC on 3 march 09, i will be comming in as a SSGT/E-6. will i be authorized to wear my rank in wtc ? i honestly dont know how that works with the army. i am prior navy (9 years of service)

15958557--- When did you sign up? Are they into March already for WTC classes? Or are you waiting for your Navy contract to end? Also, from what I have read and seen, everyone was wearing their rank in WTC. Not saying that is the official answer, just sayin. Congrats!

yeah i am just waiting for my contract to end on 2march09. i just signed my contract on the 24th of dec for MOS 63B

I'm scheduled for a visit with the career counselor @ MEPS in late january, I'll be coming in under the Civilian Acquired Skills Program for 63B. did they offer any good bonuses or any idea about duty station ?

Since i was prior service i did not get a bounus. You should find out your duty station at ait

Thanks for the response. I'm also prior service, so much for paying off the credit cards. I'm also hoping to get BAC in my contract. Did meps offer you BAC ?

Congrats again and thanks for the info. I go to MEPS next week and sure didnt want to hear that I have to wait until March for WTC.

1. There are no phases like in basic training. Just one. Blue. That means more privledges and that sort of thing. Act grown, get treated as grown!!!

2. Wear your rank. You earned it and you get paid for it. Use it!!!

3. It's great if you want to learn D&C. If you are an NCO, highly recommended. NCO Creed is a must!!! We don't do much D&C but it's still good to know.

4. For those of you attending the 9 January class, your first PT test will be on the 10th!!!! Mark my words Big Grin

Hi all I am new here and thinking about rejoining the Army. My question to everyone is do all of the PT tests count. For example, say I pass the first test and then fail the second one. Which one would they count? Thanks in advance.
