Has Army began addressing any waivers as of 15June09.

If not, should FY10 turn in October reset and then loosen up?

Just wondering if there are any REs beeing looked at RE-3?

Thanks for any help from everyone..

Yes, the army is still accepting RE Code Waivers and grade determination waivers so long as your reason for discharge was not disciplinary. The army is getting strict on waivers at this time but mainly moral waivers. Basically, if you have too many issues, they may not want to process your paperwork. I submitted my paperwork Oct 14, 2008 and it finally got approved April 23, 2009. I required a grade determination waiver and an RE Code 3 waiver. If you show the recruiters that you are able to do most of the leg work for them and be at their call when they need something, they may want to help you out. Some recruiters, to include their station commanders don't like to deal with prior service because of the time consumption. Hope this helps and if I were you I would hurry up and get to the recruiting station.

BTW... it also depends on what component of the Army you're enlisting into. There are difference in National Guard enlistments until the new AR 601-210 is published.

Regular Army
Army Reserve
National Guard
