I believe mine is the 9th, I'm scheduled to ship out the 31st of Dec, I had hoped for sooner but I'm just happy to get in and looking forward to the challenges ahead.

I was Scheduled for Aug, but had a lttile motorcycle accident in Feb. Still working out the kinks. I can run the two mile no prob and the set up to prob. The Pushups are a little Slow. Could only do three two montjs ago. Up to 25 now. so By Jan should be all good.

I'm still working on the running I've got my times down but just trying to get some extra cushion. Working on pushups never was real good at them but I am getting better should be no sweat. I don't want that to be a distraction when I get down there. I am prior AF 18 years ago. Going back in as e-3 52D.

I went through boot camp in Chicago, started Jan 9th of 02. This year, I went through WTC at WSMR starting Jun10th.

All I can say is cold is WAYYYYYY better than hot.

Zoniman way to go sounds like that was the smart way to go. 11113214, I hope so. I originaly went through basic in dec wasn't that bad but I was hoping for something a little bit warmer but no training camps in Hawai or the Virgin Islands yet. But hope springs eternal.

Yeah, that's a long wait. But you're right, at least you're all set and locked in. Better long wait than not knowing. Gives you a decent amount of time to get your APFT scores in shape and all that. I am hoping to sign my contract in a few weeks (still have to lose a few LB's)but my recruiter made it sound like I would be heading to WTC about 45 days after that. Maybe not? Maybe will be in with you guys?

Left the AF as an E-3, due to force reduction and came back in as E-3. When I went to MEPS in Omaha the counselor Told me it was the earliest opening they had. Don't know how true that is I was shocked.

Do they tax the bonus before you get it or is it taxed when you file your income taxes?
