i have an interview for a finance possition in the airgaurd. 6f0x1. has anyone served with that career? if so about how often and how long are the deployments? also my boss is kinda hinting around that my job may not be there when i return from basic and tech. has anyone delt personaly with the reemployment act?

Have dealt personnaly with it. He has to hold your job (under most circumstances, see below). May not like, it, but has to. That does not protect you from legal dismissals though. In other words, if you miss work because of things other than military related, they can terminate for those things. It's kind of a touchy subject, but look up USERRA (www.esgr.org/userra.asp) and read it for yourself. It also depends on how large of a company you work for. I believe some small businesses may be exempt.
