Depends. Is this your first enlistment? If so, you should have an 8 year obligation to fill. If not, you can complete an AF Form 1288 to go inactive. You will have to get your commander to sign.
I know a guy who is an active duty dependent, but serves part time in the reserve. When his wife got orders to Europe, he went with her and his unit here in the states worked with him so he could continue serving without coming to drill once a month. Instead of monthly drills he went to his unit and completed multiple UTA's back-to-back and scheduled AT for three consecutive weeks.
If you have served your time on active duty, then you can look into the IMA (Individual Mobilization Augmentee) program. Not sure if you are familiar with it, but you can be attached to an active duty unit and remain an individual reservist. Instead of having drill weekends, you can schedule all your UTA's in conjunction with your AT and not have to be in uniform for the remainder of the year.
So do you want to get out of the Reserves, or want to be able to accept the job? You could do Reserve duty overseas in many places.
