Heres the scoop -

Enlisted in the air guard last november. Bmt/tech school dates were filled up and I am now slotted for a date that puts me outside of the 365 day DEP window. I asked my Recruiter and retention specialist at the base if because of me being outside of the 365 day window would that have any effect on the bonus and benefits etc. that I received upon signing my original contract. They both insisted that my original contract would be honored with the bonus etc. that I orginially signed up with because the guard has a little more leway then the active side in terms of the DEP. I am looking for some rules/regs that I could view to try and shed some light on this matter and ensure that all the above is true. Does anyone out there have any experience knowledge on this?
