I'm looking the join the Air Force Reserves as a 2T2X1 (AIR TRANSPORTATION). How often do they deploy? Has anyone worked as one in the AF reserves and can give me a good idea?

I am a 2T2 in the reserves. We, like everyone else I believe, are on an AEF rotation. So, we pretty much know that every so often we will be up for a rotation. This is a heavily needed AFSC so you will have opportunity to deploy. In my unit, we typically have more volunteers than available slots, so no on is really voluntold.

Same here. Lot of deployments, lot of volunteers. Chances of getting ordered to go are rare. However, that being said, they will tell you "It looks better for promotion" if you take an AEF every few years.
