I am a crew chief, and hope to work on the flightline. I do have a few questions:

1. How is the unit's morale?
2. Can I expect frequent deployments/TDY's?

This would be my first TR unit, so I really don't know what to expect. Thanks.

I have been part of the 932 Med Group since early 2001. I can say that I believe the wing has a high level of morale and esprit. Our group has one of the highest volunteer rates for the AOR in the AF Reserve. Most individuals I know throughout the wing are highly motivated and very professional.

Deployment is going to depend on your specific squadron needs. I can say that there are lots of opportunities within the wing to deploy if you like.

I was just up there this past drill weekend, and it seems to be a good unit from face value. I am actually trying to get my resume together, because I do want to get into the ART program. Do you know how many crew chief positions are available? Who would you recommend me talk to? Thanks for your help.

I made it to the 932nd in April, and things are good there. Everyone seems to be pretty laid back, so far. I have done two weeks of AT there over the summer, and I have a week scheduled following the next UTA, so I have spent some time out there over the summer.

I applied as an ART, which closed out yesterday on USAjobs, so hopefully sometime in the near future I will be out there permenantly. But for now, Course 9 awaits! Beer
