I'm prior enlisted. After commissioning (active duty) I went to nav school and washed out. Instead of taking another AFSC I got out of the AF through force shaping.

I am currently in the IRR as a 2d Lt with no AFSC. I have a TS/SCI. I'm looking for an intel slot in either the Reserves/Guard or Active Duty. I live in Central Texas.

Anyone have any insight about chances of getting back in the reserves, guard, or AD? Just want to know what my options are. I'm working my master's degree now and won't finish until May.

Also is there a time limit on how long your security clearance is good for once your out?

There may be a few slots your way. Intel seems to be hot right now. Go to goang.com and talk to the chiefs. They will be able to point you in the right direction.
I believe your TS/SCI is stopped right now.

Thanks for the reply. I'll check it out. It seems like AD is closed for prior officers unless your a flyer or critical AFSC.

TS/SCI would expire 5 years after you were deemed eligible for it.

However since you were "out" it is just considered "inactive".
