Hello all,
Recently, I received my degree in Industrial Engineering where I specialized in Construction Management. My goal is to get into a civil engineering position in my civilian life. I need further engineering training to do so. I don't want to go back to college..But I would be willing to get the training I need through the military. Most people would recommend going Army and getting assigned to the Corps of Engineers. IED hunting is not something I want to get involved with. The Air Force can give me the training and work experience to get where I want to go in life. Is there a big need for engineers in the ANG or Reserve? Who can I talk to to discuss how well my degree is suited to the type of engineering I'm getting into? Thanks, Edward |

Edward - There is a need for engineers within the Air Force Reserve. It is one of the few AFSC's that we can get non prior service folks into. Most of our engineering positions are in Civil Engineering.
The next person you need to contact for position availability will be your nearest Air Force Reserve Officer Recruiter. |
