i was recently discharged from arng in 2007 n i want to get back in but the recruiter i was working with had told me in order to get back in as active duty i have to wait intill feb 07, of 2009 is this true ?

I have a buddy in the same situation. He has to wait.

ok i was just wondering because i had tryed going threw another recruiter he told me to lose 15 lbs n id be set the day i was to go to meps he called n told me my waiver had ben denied because of my re code but the arng recuriter told me the code is fine an i should be able to get bck in if i speak to the sm but i dont want arng no more i wanan be active but the rec for my home town took 3 months n still waitin on a tattoo waiver so i guess ill have to wait to go in feb , another quick question is i wanna be a combat engineer but i only scored a 39 on my asvab is that good anough for ce ?

Yeah he posted this in Army General Discussions and I moved it here. gruntpain1775 started a link above for RE Code questions that directs back to the Recruiting Questions Forum.

Honestly, speaking as someone that is still eligible (for another 14 months....gotta keep saying that so I don't feel old here....heh-heh). I really don't understand these RE code questions. Is it really that hard to maintain Army enlistment standards while your enlisted? I don't think so.
