I want to know my chances of being selected for army ocs, because i've heard different things from different people. I have bachelors of science in business management with a 3.2 gpa from the University of South Florida. I worked full time(35hrs+)to pay the bills while going to school full time. My initial goal was to become a SEAL, but during the MEPS physical i was classified colorblind for the navy. I have trained extremely hard(running, swimming, crossfit) and am confident i can get a perfect physical test score. Any spare time i had outside of work and school was spent training, so i dont have much extracurricular or volunteer work. My afqt score was an 89. And i'm pretty sure im going to be able to get some very solid recommendtions. What are my chances?
Have you been qualified as a OCS Candidate by a Army Recruiter? I only ask because I see the DQ for Colorblindness for the Navy and I am too lazy to look that up myself.
If your accepted as Army OCS Candidate how you do is relative to other candidates being reviewed at the time by the specific review board you go to.
BTW, if your asking for a personal opinion I think a 3.2 GPA in addition to a MAX APFT is pretty competitive for OCS. Again though, I think your being compared with the other applicants before the board at the specific time you appear for review.
