back in 2000 I was in the Air Force. I got out in a little less than 6 month's with and Entry Level Separation. My separation code is JDA and re entry code of 2C.

I know it's my fault and I needed to be up front at MEPS and not have listened to my recruiter but at the time I thought he was right and listened to him and didn't mention it at. my parents had me see a shrink when they were going through a divorce when I was 16. all my siblings did, just to make sure we were ok (happy to say my parents are still together to this day!!). needless to say I was getting certified to work on Jet's that had Nukes on them and they found out. I didn't put up a fight to stay in (I could have and changed my MOS) and came home to my wife only to find out she had been cheating on me. so I lost everything, my career in the military and my wife.

now after all these years of being out I now train MMA and miss what I had back then, even though it was only for 6 months. I want to get into the ARMY RESERVES. I talked to a recruiter and he said I could get a waiver and get in. how long would this take? and with the economy so bad and alot of people joining the military is it out of the question to get back in?

ALSO if I do get back in will I have to go to WTC and the MOS's they offer be limited seeing as I was prior service? I would love to get 21E but whatever I can get to serve again would be an honor!

If you are joining a Reserve unit, your choice of jobs will be limited to the MOSs that particular unit needs.

You need to go to the Reserve Center and talk with their full time person.

The time it takes is really unknown.
It depends on how fast the paperwork travels from one office to another.

I am actually torn between ACTIVE and RESERVES. I have some thinking and planning to do. It's always a big decision joining the military being I'm 33 I just don't want to jump into things again and not do some research and go into it blind.
