This isn't bashing, this is a gut check...

EVERY MOS IS DESIGNED FOR ONE PURPOSE!

To fight and win the nation's wars. There is no one job that gets deployed the least. If a particular MOS is needed less then there are fewer of them. This question IS retarded, but you get a by because you don't know any better.

Yeeeeahhhh, the MOS's like finance, mail clerk those usually only spend no more than 8 months in country. At least the ones on Falcon rotated out like that. It may have been though that they just went to a supper FOB like Liberty or Balad.
If you really, really, really want to know what MOS deploys the least it is, aw hell, go ask the recruiter yourself. I mean it sounds like you are one of those I want to join, not deploy and be able to say I tried types.
Really just go ask the recruiter Wink

You can always join the SALVATION ARMY, they never deploy.
Deud I'm just messing with you, life is scary in itself. It is not perfectly normal to put yourself in harms way. But the bottom line is that we are at war, when you say the oath you do it knowing full well the hazards of your chosen profession. You may want to wait a couple of years though before joining. It sounds like you have some thinking to do. I would rather you not join then to join and become a pain in the butt of yoru PSG. Because then it gets really stupid from there.

So do some research on your own, figure out if you really want to join. Either you go into it 100% or not at all.

Indeed. Now please keep your retarded @ss out of the Army until you understand that Selfless Service deploys you wherever you need to go, whenever the country tells you to.

that's not necessary for all you know the poor guy just turned 17. At 17 99% of us were worrying about what we scored on out math test or what girl likes us; Not taking an oath to serve our country and possibly spill blood for that oath. Dont worry about it By, I felt and maybe do feel a little scared ( I'm 19 btw). I believe feeling scared is universal to anyone making the decsision serve. When I was 17 I almost joined the army I was in the DEP and was scared just like you,I dropped out with the intent to never return. Here I am two years older and I'm going to MEPS this week. If you're your so unsure about joining wait it out and see what happens.

And when your ready youll know Smile

I had a buddy who joined the Army at 17. The biggest thing he was worried about was getting overseas and kicking some @ss. Thats a Grunt for you though. I hope you aren't frightened stiff this time around and actually go through with it.

Thats no question at all. Don't pay any mind to bonuses, choose a job you WANT. I recommend Infantry. You get all kinds of bling for your uniform.

Oh, smart guy are you? Hell, MPs are simple creatures but at least they are more hardcore than commo nerds or MI freaks. Good luck in any case.

haha that may be but some ones gotta do those jobs, and I actually plan to utilize my G.I bill so "hopefully" I'll land a good job If I decide to get out.

Nothing wrong with planning for the future right?

I enlisted as an 11B hoping if I get deploy it either Afghanistan or Iraq. But who would have guess I'll be put in a Calvary unit as a filler heading for Kosovo as my first deployment Mad. While other Combat Support MOS units are getting deploy to Afghanistan or Iraq. So it not what MOS you choose it the luck of the draw.

Some enlist as 11B and four months after OSUT graduation they are switched to a support MOS. So you still have your MOS at least.

Yea, that was my whole reasoning in joining the Army. To sign up for the most wuss job, that had zero danger. You need to enlist as a bayonet. I hear our guys don't use them much anymore.
