Well, for starters, I've slimmed down abit from my last post andI am now more fit. I haven't taken the real ASVAB yet, but when i went to my recruiter I took the practice and scored a 54, so when I take the real one who knows what jobs will be available. But right now I'm considering 31B, 13B, 21B, 14S, or 91P and can't seem to narrow my choices. So if anyone has any experiences with any of these MOS and would like to give their inout, it would be greatly appreciated

I think you have a pretty good selection there, I don't have any experience with any of them and think you should be able to garner some responses with some of those or do a search.

31B = MP Discussion Forum
13B = Artillery Discussion Forum
21B = Engineer Discussion Forum
14S = ADA Discussion Forum
91P = I'm not sure what that is.

If your trying to narrow the field, what is it exactly you want to do?

If I had to narrow my choices further I'd choose 31B, 13B, or 21B. MP because law enforcement appeals to me, especially getting training for it at 18. I like the dual-mission role MP's play. I grandpa was an 0811, the Marine Corps equivalent of 13B and he served in Korea.

I understand your wanting to be a Bang-Bang but have you considered 13F? I'm not just bringing this up because of my own affiliations but because I have meet quite a few Bravos who have wished they where a Fox. If you are seriously considering 31B or 21B then you might want to look into 13F as well. That's just my two cents though, you don't need to pay it any real mind if you don't want to though. Choosing an MOS is a very important thing,it was very much a religious experience for me, make sure that what you choose matches who you are as a person and what kind of soldier you see yourself as.

US ARMY Info.com has 91P as a Radiology Specialist.

It's not Radiology specialist anymore. They just got done phasing all of the Mechanical Maintenance MOSs into the 91 series and Medical into the 68 series. 91P is now Artillery Mechanic.

I have looked at 13F and that was originally my first choice but then I relized that there is alot of math, and I'm terrible at math. I can make myself seem like a really smart person on paper but I barely passed Algebra II last year so that was what I'm majorly concerned with.

That's not unique to 13-Bravos. Everybody wishes they were a fox! Cool

Trust me mate, there isn't much math involved at the level I work at. I can only count to about 20, 21 with my pants down and if it's not to cold Wink. Just so you know too, I never passed Algebra II myself. Heck, it took me 3 years just to pass Algebra I and even then with only a D!

I have also thought about 11x, but for some reason 11C is more appealing to me and I hear its pretty rare to get that...could be wrong though

Being a Mortar Maggott is fun, except when you gotta hump the tube, base plate & ammo.
