Hello,
I was discharged during BCT for my chest deformity, with an RE 3. I've gone to meps and got all ones for thier physical test. I did not see a medical board before my seperation/discharge. My recruiters tried for a Erroneous Enlistment waiver. Then was told would just have to get a local battalion waiver from the commander saying I could go in. They sent that up to USAREC who sent it back saying they need medical records. Well my recruiters said they don't have them and either do I. They then tried for an "Acception waiver" I think he called it, but didn't work. I have been worrying if I am disqualified for service but my recruiter assures me I am not at all. At the moment he says they are trying to find what paper work needs to be sent up. Also said he has his 1sgt looking into it as well. They said I don't need a medical waiver since I did not see a medical board.

I am wondering if any recruiters or anyone with knowledge about this sort of thing can offer me a little assistance or have ideas on what to do. I have been waiting little over 3 months to enlist and hate bugging my recruiter every week to see whatsup. Worried as all hell that for some odd reason I won't get back in even though my recruiter assures me.

So if anyone has any ideas that I could do to help my recruiters out or any info that they have would be very much appreciated. I went in for Infantry and I will pick the same MOS whenever they get this sorted out. Just wondering if any recruiters or people with knowledge on here would know what to do.

Thanks and anything is very much appreciated,
Chad

You might try to get all your records from St. Louis. All former federal personal records can be requested from there. www.archives.gov/st.louis and they have links to all the records.

You can get copies of your 201 and medical records. Hope this helps.

I called them during these 3 months quite a few times. Always giving me numbers to different places. The form they said the needed was DA 4707. "Entrance Physical Standard Board Procedings" They said at the records place one didn't exsist for me so thats the problem thier having I think. They said I wont need a medical waiver since I didn't see a med board while I was there. I am not sure if my recruiter doesn't know what kind of waiver I need or what. Just trying to figure that out.

Thanks for the information though I appreciate it very much. Hopefully when I call em later this next week I'll get some more information from him.
