i talked to a recruiter today and he told me they dont do sign on bonus's anymore and was wondering if that was true? thanks

Very possible and depends on the time your attempting to enlist and what MOS your trying to enlist for. Couldn't glean that from your first post.

well i went in the national guard office we have in our town of albert lea minnesota to get some info on it and this was on tuesday the 20th. i asked questions and recieved good answers just puzzles me that he says no enlisting bonus but website says there is? so thats whats confusing me. thanks joe

The Recruiter get his regulations handed down frequently. It is his/her job to stay on top of these things.

Websites can be slow to change anything.
You will see that a lot in unit web pages.
The webmaster can PCS or ETS and there will be no one around to update things.

All Branches of the Military met, or exceeded, their recruiting goals last year. They've tightened up the enlistment standards and eliminated bonuses, at least for now.

Your recruiter needs to read the USAREC messages. There are bonuses out there. Do you qualify for one? Who knows.
