Hi, i am 17 and im going back to school. i started talking to a recruiter a month ago but we lost touch while we were waiting for a case of mine to get taking care of. i was wanting to know if i could get in the Delayed Entry Program even though schools starting back up? thanks for any help.
What do you mean by "waiting for a case to be taken care of"? You need to explain that first.
Is that a Civil Court Case?
You can enlist in the DEP at 17 with your parents consent if you meet the regulations for enlistment. I don't think the answer is still yes if you have pending court action against you but I am not sure how that works and it is probably a "it depends".
a had a pending case.. but a found out about 3 weeks ago that the case got dismissed.
Then I believe for shipping next Spring or Summer you should be OK to enlist now with your parents consent.
If you want a second opinion the Mod in the above Recruiting Questions Forum is a Recruiter he usually does not answer posts though except Monday-Friday.
Also screenname: FO2_325 is a Army Recruiter he posts here as well as the Recruiting Questions Forum.
Yes, you can be in the Future Soldier Training Program while a senior in high school. We'll even pay you a bonus for every month you're in school and more when you graduate...
