I know this is going to seem like a stupid question, but being as I never recieved one before I don't know how it would work in this situation. I'm going in (well will be once my surgery waiver clears again) after a 6 month seperation from the Air Force. I'm trying to go 13F and I want to go for 6. I was unaware, but apparently I'm eligible for a bonus. I wasn't expecting it, and to be honest I don't know how reliable it is that I will get it. I was wondering if anyone who has any knowledge on the subject could inform me a bit. I won't be all that upset if I dont get one, but I obviously wouldn't be upset if I did. thanks a bunch!

If you want it the bonus, make sure its in the contract. There is no such thing as a verbal promise in the contracts. Either its in writing or its not.
If you want it, put it in writing.
