I'm not sure what exactly you're looking to find out or what you're looking for. If you are a just a civilian wanting to help, then there are some great organizations out there (the USO for one, a Google search will lead you to others) that you can research on the internet to lend a hand. I'm not sure that anybody here is going to be comfortable giving their loved one's contact information to a total stranger, especially in less than safe areas, so it'd be best if you would go through one of those organizations. You can also contact your local Reserves or Guard units and see if there's a list of things that they collect on a regular basis.

Yes, there are plenty of organizations that do that. The FRG spoken about here is Family Readiness Group - it's essentially a support group for troops and their families in each individual unit. I guess they sometimes do supply drives, but like I said places like your local armories, VFWs, etc., would be better local contacts. Any of those folks can be looked up in the phone book, or a quick Google search would get you some contact information. Thanks for your concern!

There is a forum called Reconnecting America, in there it is Adopt a Service-Member some people are looking for care packages, letters, emails, etc... So look through there, should be some links at the top page with ideas for you.

Contact your local VFW or Legion office, find out if there is USO in your area. America Supports You is another location that is good to look into.

Hey, I just wanted to say that you have a wonderful, giving attitude for a 13yo. That's really great to see these days and I thank you for your willingness to support our troops. Good luck finding the right fit where you can help!
