I went to my VSO with paperwork from VA about PTSD. One sheet was to wright down specific dates of traumatc events. Every day in Chu Lai, RVN was traumatic...April '66 to '67. Can anyone remember specific dates or how to find them. My brain doesn't work very well..one reason is taking 3000 to 3500 mg VICADIN daily for lower back pain..all 5 disc are shot...thanks Tom

Thomas, there are of members here who are willing to help you. But we need more information. Like;

-1- Years in RVN
-2- Units served with
-3- Anything else that you can remember
-4- Name home of record
-5- Rank and awards
-6- List any name of guys you served with.

I would suggest that you start with getting your DD214, letters you wrote and/or received, any other military documents including pictures.

Then get pad and pencil and start making notes of what comes to mind concerning your military service. Remember, we get different thought at different times of day and in different places.

Again, with what you've provided. I don't see how anyone can help. We wish you well and success.

I've just read several of your prior posts, There's a lot of information in those post. You may need to go back and reread them for your self.

Let's keep things simple here.

If you are having troubles, get to a local Vet Center or get a VSO to help you. No one can work their way through the VA system by themselves.

There are a ton of links here on www.military.com. Don't be afraid to spend some time looking through the many postings here. You will find a lot of other folks who have had similar problems and have had good success.
