Hey are you allowed to join the military if at one point or another you went to see a therapist. there was nothing majorly wrong, you just wanted to get some feelings out

sorry, i put psychological therapy. i dont know if that correct. i'm basically talking about seeing a shrink/ phsyciatrist

yes. depending on what it was for, etc, there is usually no problem. i suggest you talk to ur recruiter to make certain, but just for talk therapy, etc, there is no issue. many active duty people do the same for family issues etc.

if there was a diagnosis of mental disorder, or medications that have not been 'cured' or in 'remission' for atleast 3 years (i believe) prior to enlisting, there can sometimes be a wrinkle... but just for talking, shouldn't be an issue. talk to ur recruiter to make certain.
