REcently someone at the Regional office refered me to Ratings for PTSD I was assulted several times during my service what the Shrink says it is a pre existing personality disorder, one assult was esspecially traumatic I was force fed LSD25 I had never done drugs before that the resulting trip has left me LOST I could never keep a job although I like people I have not had nor can I maintain any social platonic or romantic relationships. in fact I had repressed the asult for years only remembering the horror of the Acid Trip In preperation for a ratings review I wrote a statement detailing the assult and the reulting effects on my miserable life. Then I began searching online for someone to corroborate the event so far no luck I did find my First Sergant he remembers much about the drug environment in our unit but not the specific event he is writing a letter for Ratings likely this will not be enough My question is how can I find the two guys that I remember were involved?
A gentle reminder: Post Traumatic Stress Disorder: intense memories of trauma that won't go away. Whether caused by the horrors of combat or other extreme trauma it lurks quietly in the background of ones day to day life. Some become so distressed by memories of the trauma that they begin to live their lives trying to avoid any reminders of what happened to them. This usually a cop-out by DoD clinicians who don't take the time to accurately diagnose properly. Most people who have a 'personality disorder' don't make it through the mill very long in the military. If you go here: www.psychiatryonline.com, you will find that there are a number of 'disorders' which are listed and there is a differentiation between PTSD and many other disorders.
Best of success in your efforts and stop back often.
