Big show tonight, the whalers fight back (or at least that's how it looks in the previews).

Well, they didn't exactly fight back, but they have started doing a few things better. I really wanted to see that L-RAD in action too, maybe next week.
Do you think the Shepards really expect their little entangler to stop a ship that size?
What do you think about the latest attempt on "Captain" Watson's life? Personally I think it's about as real as the gunshot last season. If I thought I had been exposed to anthrax/ricen mt @ss would be in the hospital, not relaxing on the bridge for the cameras.
I wonder if the Dutch are going to pull his flag? The previews are showing him hitting another whaling ship after being warned not to do anything from the STEVE ERWIN, and to only use his small boats. I hope they do, I'de love to see the Japainse board him after he is declared stateless.

I'm amazed at the restraint the Japanese are showing. I'd be pretty tempted to change course and speed and "accidentally" run over that small boat.

You notice that the "Anthrax" letter was just BS, as evidenced by the lack of response from the Aussies. No PPE, no nothing. I bet it was baby powder prepared by the Sea Shepards to make them look better.
Love the brass lugnuts thrown by the Japanese... "they respond with violence against our peaceful protests". What morons.
I'm hoping that this series is being shown at any and all O schools and Coxwain schools on how NOT to be a skipper/handle a ship. This is alot better than the standard CG classes on accident awareness.

Oh yeah, forgot the bras nuts. Think the fact that they were nuts being thrown at nuts was intentional?
And Watson (I think) "They are dismantling their ship to try to stop us." Yeah, right idiot.
And "They are throwing at our people, we are just throwing at their ship." Uh, dummy, your people were in a small, emphasis on small, boat.....how do you know they were throwing at them and not the boat?

Apparently throwing glass bottles isn't dangerous.
Also notice, little ROTR lesson....if you have a vessel on your port side, you don't come to port.....and that's exactly what Watson did in the first near collision. That's right up there with his shipboard pick up of the MOB last year "don't turn around, it will take to long, just back up."
I'm still waiting for the Australian authority's actions....we already know that they seized some film last year.

I wouldn't get too hopeful. Like it or not, this group's mission has a good deal of popular support in Australian society and government. The Aussies are NOT happy to have Japan whaling in an area declared (by Australia) to be a sanctuary zone. SB

It's not a hope. The filming happened over 6 months ago. Australian authorities held the ship and seized film (I assume for evidence).
There was a press release about it (might be found on this thread somewhere).
