My son is a Sophomore at UMass in the Fisheries and Wildlife Conservation Major.
He says he is thinking of going Active Duty Coast Guard after he gets his BS.
Something about OCS or CSPI and being an Enviromental Manager.
He is pretty sure of himself but I wondered if those in the Coast Guard thought this area or program was in demand for officers and what the best direction would be, Law Enforcement or Environmental Science.

Both are missions in the CG. Though there are clear career paths for both....most will touch on both and not exclusively during their career. I suggest he either talks to a recruiter or seek out local CG Officers to talk about specific oppertunities. The recruiter board will point you in the right direction.
