On my pickup truck, I proudly display two baseball size stickers in reference to my son being in the Marines. I've been asked why I don't display a USCG one for my own service and I thought, "Good question."
So instead of looking for them online and getting a low quality one, do any of you know where I can purchase online a USCG one that is pretty good quality so it won't fade in a week or two? I'd prefer another baseball size one with the USCG emblem.
The only two commercials on my car is the rear licence plate frame that reads "Alumni, Sacramento State University" and on the trunk, is an outline of a silver fish with legs containing the lettering "Darwin".
No one really cares about a 2nd rate university with a 3rd rate football team but the other symbol tends to ignite some caustic feelings from the fundamentalist croud.
Oh, and on the windshield, are the necessary decals issued by the Travis AFB security office on both our cars so my wife can get to her teaching job each day and I can get on base and do whatever it is that I do on base - mainly volunteer work at the family service center and periodic shopping at the commissary.
No need for a Coast Guard sticker or decal as I haven't been on a Coast Guard facility in several years.
Unless you are near a CG Exchange that actually has more than crummy electronic junk, crappy 'jewelry' and booze, you'll probably be reduced to hunting for a sticker on-line. Heck, on-line may be less expensive, too.
I have a Retired Coast Guard license plate frame on the truck, and OIF Veteran & Aircrew wings on the center of the rear window. The frame was given to me by one of the best Ensigns I had the pleasure to work with when I retired. (I'm mostly Scottish and, therefore, too cheap to buy my own.) I also have a St. Andrews Cross sticker on the right side of the truck's rear window and a Spanish flag sticker on the left, for my wife.
Although a CSU Sacramento 1986 grad, I'm too cheap to pay for an overpriced frame from the bookstore. Now if some other alumni wanted to buy one for me...
I have ordered every thing from mouse pads to stickers for my cars very good product. You can create your own designs with coxn pins, cutterman, company commander almost everything you could ask for. I recommend this company and they do have baseball size stickers. I know what someone is about to post and no I do not work for this company, just a happy client

Marc,
I'm a 2001 grad of CSU Sacto. If you want a faded plate frame, I'll give you mine. Time to get a U.C. Davis frame anyway.
Oh and that beer, how about sometime during the 2nd week of September - my treat.
I had two ..i bought the same day i retired...actually my wife did.
1 said..support search and rescue get lost. the other said..USCG RETired.
a few months ago i got rid of that car..i had it for over 21 years..there were lots of stickers on it..my baby.. a 84 4 door pontiac 6000 station wagon with nearly 300k miles..

Don, I have had this style sticker on my last truck and now on the rear of my car. The oval center is the actual sticker and it will last, what seems like, forever. I had the one on my truck for 5 years and it never faded.
I carry two on my 06 F-150. One is a very nice looking black and silver Coast Guard sticker and the other is a POW sticker. Oh ya, and on my side window I have a "Right to bear arms" sticker. Dave
Thanks for the info guys! My rear window is tinted from the factory so I will check those sites for one like shown above but that can be stuck on the outside.
That reminds me, I have a Coast Guard sticker on the rear bumper of my car and of couse the sticker on the outside But I have several magnets that I took off when I went to wash it. They are in the trunk. I go brain dead sometimes
Check out Military-Graphics.com. In my opinion, this is the best site to order just about any graphics related to the military. Plenty of CG decals to pick from. It will take some time to browse, but you'll enjoy. Prices are reasonable, a variety of sizes, but one downside. Very slow delivery times, but worth it. Quality is very good for outside use.
