For twenty years, I've been telling the Boats ... "I make the girls go ..."

Pre-retirement: Dad's in the CG, but doesn't get to go out in the water too far.
Post-retirement: Don't know what he does, but he comes home grumpier than when he left.

Now that both kids are gone - I am no where near as grumpy when I come home.
