Not sure anyone caught the news on this, but I think we could all learn something from it.
Its from a Soldier in Iraq who blogged for his Hometown newspaper. He wrote a final blog and asked that a friend post it should he ever be killed. What gives me the chills is that his final blog actually seems to predict how he goes. The Andrew Olmsted Blog T |

Wow... It's amazing, as I read this, how calm it was written. I realize it was written in the fore-life, but he wrote it very well. I'm sure he will be missed.

Well, I was doing good until the end where he talks about his wife, and I would be a liar if I didnt tell you my eyes were watering.
I went ahead and featured this for a few days because I feel if he took the time to write it, a few of us can take the time to read it even though it isnt really CG related. T This message has been edited. Last edited by: militia1, |

I cried then I tried to post then I cried. God Bless him for leaving such a legacy to his family and friends. He must have been one helluva man and one helluva soldier.
God Bless his family for releasing his words. |
